The National Upper Cervical Chiropractic Association (NUCCA) is an organization representing a relatively small group of Chiropractors choosing to focus all efforts on correcting the Atlas Subluxation Complex (ASC) through a specifically and gently applied hand adjustment to the upper neck.

A balanced spine has an opportunity to heal. The atlas misalignment creates muscle imbalance, setting the stage for injury and damage to tissues and joints. Spinal imbalances lead to stress and strain on tissues. Our goal at Friends and Family Spinal Care is to restore body balance by removing the interference to the nerve system allowing the body to heal itself.
